SIG Announces Management Buy Out to Drive Future Growth 2nd January 2009

RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, N.C. (January 2009) – DoD research and development company, Signal Innovations Group (SIG), has today announced a Management Buy Out from its former parent company, Integrian. SIG begins 2009 as an independent, privately owned service provider, with 100 percent of the equity owned by officers in the firm and is now positioned to ensure continued success of its business.

The company will continue to be led by Dr. Paul Runkle along with Levi Kennedy (VP of Engineering), Jonathan Woodworth (VP of Business Development), and Duke Professor, Dr. Lawrence Carin (CTO). Joining SIG to manage the transition is David Dye (Director of Operations).

"When your most important assets are your people, private ownership is the better model," said Dr. Runkle.  "For clients, this means SIG’s leadership and staff is even more focused on results and are better aligned with client success.  For the SIG team, it means greater control of our own destiny, with increased incentives for performance and growth."
